About TADWA

Technology Assisting Disability WA Inc. (TADWA) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities, the frail aged, and those caring for them, through the application of technology and the skills of volunteers

TADWA started out in 1984 when a number of Telecom employees banded together to supply communications equipment for a person with a disability. Since that time TADWA has broadened its range of services and helped many individuals and families throughout the state.

TADWA operates through the activities of a pool of volunteers with a broad range of design, engineering, paramedical, craft, electronic, mechanical, computer and administrative skills. The volunteers devote their time and skills to develop, construct and modify devices.
